Jordan's Crossing Herbal Connections
Handful-Herbs

October 4, 2022

Hey y'all!
Nothing really new this time. We're sending out the chronic diarrhea articles again (which are more about being intolerant to histamine than diarrhea) in case any of you missed those, and also a couple reruns on essential oils that can be helpful perhaps.

But mostly, I wanted to remind you that this Saturday, October 8, is the last of the official Bartlesville Farmers Market for this year. So do come and stock up! Although with that said, we plan to continue each Saturday as long as it's warm enough and the farmers are continuing to have veggies. We won't be there with a whole set up, but we'll be there with our low carb baked goods, herbal teas, magnesium products, and our essential oil kits. We plan to do this as well for the off-season's Third Saturday Markets through the winter months as long as the weather permits and there seems to be interest. We'll keep you posted on FB as to when we'll be there. This Saturday we'll be there 8-11:30a. It's on the corner of Frank Phillips and Keeler. After that it'll likely be 9-11a. Like I said, keep an eye out on our FB..

Anyway! I hope you're all having a wonderful, happy Fall. It's been just gorgeous after this crazy hot summer!
Love yous,

Natural Websites

Natural Websites
It’s no secret nowadays. Natural things are disappearing from view on the internet. When you search for anything health related all the top websites that come up are medical or drug oriented. Joy in the Bittersweet

Joy in the Bittersweet
I visited the eye doctor the other day. And like always at every new doctor, my stroke from 8 years ago comes up. Which is a necessity. I’m not complaining. It’s been about 5 years since last seeing an eye doc, and because I still struggle with vertigo since the stroke, we were curious to know if there was any …

Holy Moly, I Like Those Rollies!

Holy Moly, I Like Those Rollies!
One of the things were going to be offering more of at the market this year is essential oils as Rollies. What in the world is a “Rollie”? It’s a Roller bottle filled with a carrier oil (like Almond oil, Olive oil or Coconut oil most often) w essential oils added. Why would we do that? Tbh, it’s my preferred …

Diluting Essential Oils and Why You Should

Why you should Dilute www.jordanscrossing.net
I wanted to talk a bit about diluting your essential oils and why you should. To say it upfront: we don’t really much encourage using any essential oils directly on your skin without diluting them first. Folks tend to view them as mere fragrances. However, they aren’t just smells to enjoy at leisure, they are medicines. Highly concentrated medicines. And …

Essential Oil Questions

Some off-the-cuff questions about the essential oils we sell
When folks ask me questions at the market, I rarely feel like I do the answer justice. Since my stroke, I just don't think fast enough and often blank out on words and thoughts. Most people are polite and patient, and I'm thankful for every one of you, but still, I just don't feel I always do a good job …
