Hey there,
Hope you're all doing well. Just as Winter is beginning its transition into Spring, I kind have felt the same way lately. That I'm in a sort of transition time personally. Just been questioning alot of things lately, and unsure where I stand in some areas. The Lord has been walking me through it with authors like T. Austin-Sparks and Father Richard Rohr, but some TED Talks have come my way recently that are part of the journey as well. And they have made me think. If you're not familiar with TED Talks, they are short little snippets of motivational teaching and thought that can be from any perspective.

The first I came across was on fear and what it can teach us. Alot of good info on how fears are story-tellers and not always telling the truth. And then another TED Talk about 'languishing' ...you know.. that sense of "meh" that overcomes us at times.. where we feel aimless and purposeless; not depressed, not burned out, just unmotivated. He was specifically speaking about this happening during the pandemic, but it applies to much in life, and he gives good tips for getting past it. I hope you'll find some encouragement in these things.

There's several new things on the website as well as you'll see below. Everything from Magnesium Oil to Essential Oils to fear and honesty.

We are counting down the weeks until the Bartlesville Farmers Market starts it's 2023 season on the first Saturday in May! We hope you'll come and see us. If we can help you with anything in the meantime, just message us on FB or drop us an email at email@jordanscrossing.net. We'd love to listen to what's on your mind and heart.

Even when you put the words “natural” or “herbal” in the sites that come up are medical ones with their ideas on natural and herbal. (Sites like Healthline …

Joy in the Bittersweet

Joy in the Bittersweet
I visited the eye doctor the other day. And like always at every new doctor, my stroke from 8 years ago comes up. Which is a necessity. I’m not complaining. It’s been about 5 years since last seeing an eye doc, and because I still struggle with vertigo since the stroke, we were curious to know if there was any …

Holy Moly, I Like Those Rollies!

Holy Moly, I Like Those Rollies!
One of the things were going to be offering more of at the market this year is essential oils as Rollies. What in the world is a “Rollie”? It’s a Roller bottle filled with a carrier oil (like Almond oil, Olive oil or Coconut oil most often) w essential oils added. Why would we do that? Tbh, it’s my preferred …

Patience in Suffering

Patience in Suffering
Yesterday was a good day. A really good day. Today is not. Bad night.... so bad day. I was talking to the Lord about it and complaining a bit, and feeling the familiar frustration of one step forward, two steps back. He whispered to my heart that I needed patience. That brought me up short. Me? 😧I'm always the one …
