Time to get the rakes out! Yesterday it was raining leaves everywhere here. It's all a beautiful reddish-gold color outdoors now. And it just makes my soul happy. For those of you who know me or have followed JsCross for any length of time, you'll know that my stroke happened on Thanksgiving Day 7 years ago. I'm feeling particularly thankful this year because this is the first year I've been able to enjoy Autumn again without any emotional pain over the past. It's always with me, of course, but it's no longer haunting me, if that makes sense. Hence, I can enjoy my favorite season once again and enter in to Thanksgiving with joy instead of a lingering sorrow. God is good! And he's done great things in the hard things. No, I'm not 100% and won't ever physically be so again, but I'm thankful to know that he is with me whatever my physical state. And thankful to feel the enjoyment of Thanksgiving once more. So, my friends, be sure to enjoy with me the new article on a mindset of thankfulness on the website!

Leafy Autumn blessings to all,
