teatime

June 15, 2021

Hey there, just stopping in to say hello for a minute. LIfe is Sooo busy at the moment, so I don't have much time, as I'm sure is true for others as well, but I wanted to touch base with you for this June. Emotions have been in my thinking much as it's nearing the 1 year mark of my dad's death. I still tear up thinking about all that happened and how it was such an awful year all around in 2020. But the Lord's in charge and has his purposes in everything. It was good to go back and re-read articles that I'd previously written. Very encouraging, so I thought I'd share them with you. Kind of helps put emotions in perspective. Good servants, but poor masters, and not too reliable with the truth. Also, Soap has been on my mind as well. Lol. Why? Idk, but thought I'd share that too.

And don't forget, stop in at the Bartlesville Farmer's Market and see us! JsCrossing will be there at the entrance. Saturdays 8-11:30am. Frank Phillips + Keeler.

Be encouraged today. Chin up, Wilbur,

Emotions, Who's Ruling?

Emotions, Who's Ruling?
When I had my stroke, I kept telling the physical therapy people that I felt like I was tipping over. I wasn’t really. Still I’ve struggled consistently since then with the sense of tipping …

I Surrender
Not long ago my kids were having struggles with their kid. The topic was homeschooling. He wouldn't do what he was supposed to do. They saw the problem wasn't school, but the need to crack down on him as he'd become unruly and disrespectful and outright rebellious at times. His little heart was hard towards them and others. He was …

Is Your Soap Really Soap?

Glycerin Soap
Is the soap you’re using really soap? I was walking through the soap aisle at Walmart the other day. I was there to get shampoo and hand soap for a craft project. Of course, I was looking for the cheapest stuff possible. So many pretty colors and scents! And there was some really cheap stuff. Which was great for the …

Natural Websites

Natural Websites
It’s no secret nowadays. Natural things are disappearing from view on the internet. When you search for anything health related all the top websites that come up are medical or drug oriented. Even when you put the words “natural” or “herbal” in the sites that come up are medical ones with their ideas on natural and herbal. (Sites like Healthline …

Joy in the Bittersweet

Joy in the Bittersweet
I visited the eye doctor the other day. And like always at every new doctor, my stroke from 8 years ago comes up. Which is a necessity. I’m not complaining. It’s been about 5 years since last seeing an eye doc, and because I still struggle with vertigo since the stroke, we were curious to know if there was any …
