Handful-Herbs

April 21, 2021

Hey y'all, hoping that this late Spring snow and frost has been kind to you and your gardens. We covered everything with sheets and things last night and I'll be heading out to see how we fared in a bit. Wanted to stop in and share with you the latest on the website first though. I have had a couple recent bouts of illness that I suspect were Cov id and share some of the herbal strategies I used with them that helped.

I also wanted to share with you an awesome book, "Gratitude in Life's Trenches" written by Robin Phillips. It's such an inspiring book with lots of the science behind gratitude and thankfulness and it's effects in our hearts and mind, even when life is at it's hardest. Very easy and enjoyable to read. It's a little steep in price, but worth every penny in my book--and that's coming from one who almost never buys new books. Lol.

Also, the Bartlesville Farmer's Market is starting up Saturday, May 1st, and JsCrossing will be down there with new batches of essential oils, soaps, bug spray, and lots more. Hope to see you!

It’s been about 5 years since last seeing an eye doc, and because I still struggle with vertigo since the stroke, we were curious to know if there was any …

Holy Moly, I Like Those Rollies!

Patience in Suffering

Patience in Suffering
Yesterday was a good day. A really good day. Today is not. Bad night.... so bad day. I was talking to the Lord about it and complaining a bit, and feeling the familiar frustration of one step forward, two steps back. He whispered to my heart that I needed patience. That brought me up short. Me? 😧I'm always the one …
