Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
It's crazy how fast this year has gone. Literally, we just blinked once, and now it's done, ready to do it all again next year. So many lost so much in 2024 around here. So many are navigating change, including us, that there's alot of uncertainties about what the New Year will hold. One thing is certain though. God has his eye on us and we are not alone whatever may come.
There's nothing new this month, though I have a couple articles that I'm working on for next month. Reruns include an article on my addiction to nasal sprays, as well as an oldie from the Covid time, and with the holidays almost past us, there's one on healthy eating.
Don't forget about us in Farm Hippie in Pawhuska, Early Bird Market in Bartlesville, and The Farmacy in Ochelata. We have a collection of various items in each store, and if there's something you need that we don't have there, just message us. There's alot in each one, but if you have something specific you want, just let us know. You can message us on Fb or email us at JsCrossing@proton.me
Also, just a heads up in January, I'll be teaching a class on using Essential Oils as Herbal Medicine at Early Bird Market (in Bambino's Restaurant). The date escapes me, but it'll be the 2nd or 3rd Saturday afternoon. Bring your own essential oils and I'll show you how to utilize what you have and use it to your best medicinal benefit.

Addiction: Bigger Than My Can'ts

Over the counter nasal sprays.I was addicted for over 10 years. It started when I began taking an herb mixture for a particular health problem. Turns out I was allergic to one of the herbs in it. It worked for my health issue super well, but it left me sooo stuffy. Not really snotty-stuffy, but it would swell my nasal …

Bravery in the Face of Fear
One thing I’ve noticed this winter as incidents of Covid increase-- is that my fear levels rise too. I see this in me on a couple fronts.Fear of the virus itself. It’s so random and unpredictable. Some people who have gotten it breeze through it, others have had a very hard time with it. Some have died. I fear being …

Veggie tray for lunch today with a(n unseen) bowl of chili on the side (cuz it's cold and blustery -shiver). Jicama (hee-cuh-muh) is pretty awesomely tasty and packed with good for you stuff. Dr. Mercola has a good article on its benefits. Celery. If someone had told me a year ago that I'd enjoy eating celery, I might have rolled …
