Jordan's Crossing Herbal Connections

June 20, 2024

Summer has arrived en force! The heat just dropped like a bomb all of a sudden, but that's how Oklahoma is. You'd think after going on 13 years of living here, I'd learn to expect it. I won't keep you too long. There's a new article on the website of a question we get asked kind of often. It's a fair question, so I thought we'd answer it for everyone.

Then there's a rerun of last month's article on the tornado. The town of Barnsdall is continuing to heal and are making headway on cleaning up. Most of the volunteers have left now, but they continue to press on.

There's also a rerun on our Shoobug! Spray for all the newbies here. It's so helpful during these hot months when the skeeters are out and about making trouble. We ran out last week, and will have it restocked for this Saturday, along with our Flea & Tick Pet Repellent that works wonderfully and several of you were asking about (we sold out of that too). These sprays fly off the table this time of year, be sure to get yours early.

Lastly is an article on Trim Healthy Mama from a few years ago. I'm thankful every day for them because I've lost so much weight, turned my diabetes around, and helped my health in so many wonderful ways. It's the main reason we sell low carb goodies at the Market. If you've not tried them, stop by and grab one.

That's about it for this time. Don't forget to stop by and see us at the Bartlesville Farmers Market. It's every Saturday morning from 8-11:30am at the park on the corner of Frank Phillips and Keeler. We also still have some of our stuff at the Farmacy in Ochelata. And as always, you can place an order by email at JsCrossing@proton.me

Happy June!

Shoo-- Shoo-- Shoobug!

‘Tis the season... mosquito season, that is! And with all the rain and leftover standing water we’ve had in our area, it’s BAD. You can hardly walk outside without getting swarmed. I usually take a walk in the early mornings in the summer, and this year, every time I hit a shady patch, they’re buzzing in my ears.? Dumb things. …

Lifestyle Shift: Trim Healthy Mama

Lifestyle Shift: Trim Healthy Mama
THM. I've been using those letters a lot lately. They stand for Trim Healthy Mama. ..And I'm sold. Not as some sort of fad diet, but as a lifestyle shift for me. As I've spoken of previously, before I ever had my stroke, at the Lord's prompting, I made the decision to go gluten free. My weight started dropping fast. …
