Essential Oils, Singles ‘n Blends

Essential oils are THE thing at the Market this year. And with good reason: they work! Read more about the oils we sell here. We’ve expanded our “repertoire” of oils this year. I’ve had fun learning the art of blending oils. More thinking involved than you’d imagine, but interesting for sure!

imageTo go with our essential oil samples we now also offer diffuser necklaces. We have a good variety. One style is a glass vial with a cork. The oils diffuse through the cork, so keeping the cork wet is the secret. This is my favorite style. Very pretty and unique!

A second style we have is metal lockets with felt inserts in varying colors. The aroma of just a couple-three drops lasts for a couple days if you put it back in the baggy at night. Super simple to use, and pretty too!

Below is a list of the varying oils and blends we sell.

Previous stuff:

Stress Relief Blend – Sweet Orange, Lavender, and Lemon oils. Great for those times when you’re feeling tensed and stressed. (P.S. I use this in the dentists office!)
Headache Blend – Eucalyptus, Rosemary, and Peppermint oils in a base of Castor oil (which relaxes muscles). Excellent for tension and sinus headaches.
Mood-Lifter Blend – Bergamot, Palmarosa, and Rosemary oils. Smells wonderful and helps lift you out of the blues and doldrums.
Cold n Flu Blend – Clove, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Rosemary, and Red Thyme. Great for heading off the cold or flu bug, and/or diffusing when you’re sick.

New single oils:

Rosemary Oil – Our favorite oil for dealing with brain fog. This oil brings mental focus and enhances concentration.
Lavender Oil – The most well known essential oil. Useful for almost everything. Calming. Relaxing. Relieves burns. Relieves bug bites and itching, etc., etc.
Grapefruit Oil – Useful for lifting the spirits and creating an atmosphere of joy. Great for weight control as it diminishes the appetite if inhaled for 15 minutes or so before a meal.
Lemon Oil – We use this primarily in our dishwasher as a rinse agent. Our dishes come out sparkling with just 3-4 drops of lemon oil for each load. One caution: put the oil on the door and not in the rinse reservoir. Essential oils will eat the plastic seal.

New blends:

Contentment Blend – Sweet Orange, Clove, Cinnamon, Pine, Anise. Someone said this smells a bit like Chai tea. It’s wonderful and really does promote a sense of contentment.
Sleep Blend – Lavender, Cedarwood, Bergamot, and Sweet Orange oils. All proven to help you get a good night’s rest.
Lavender and Roses – Made with Lavender, Bergamot, Palmarosa oils and Rosewater. A pretty floral scent that’s calming and uplifting.
Wake Up Call Blend – Cinnamon, Pine, and Lemon oils. About as effective as caffeine in the mornings. Great as an afternoon pick me up too.
Hormone-Anxiety Blend – Clary Sage, Sweet Orange, and Bergamot oils. This ones for when you feel anxious due to your hormones. (Think PMS ?). It’s more herbal in aroma than our Stress Relief Blend. They both do about the same, but this one’s specifically for hormones.
Allergy Blend – Lavender, Lemon, and Peppermint oils. Great for opening up sinuses and dealing with stuffiness.

We’ll be at the Market tomorrow from 8:00 to 11:30am! 🙂
